Because I wasn't 100% sure of what my final plan's setting and background so I decided to have each idea represented on the board.
Background and Setting
Before picking the images I was questioning myself on what the context would be.
I had 3 settings, one would be the crocodile being destroyed, stuck inside the ground covered in dirt or sand (Represented by [2]), another would have been part of a loop, where it would be discovered in the ground, have people come to reconstruct it until a nuke or missile would destroy everything, leading to the crocodile being broken again with the nature starting to re-takeover leading into the start of the loop. While reconstructing the crocodile a warehouse would've been built around it which was represented by [1].
The other idea would have it still alive, living within a swamp or river lazily floating around, all represented by [4], [5] and [6].
Crocodile and Robotics
The crocodile was already the main choice for the animal, I've used it repeatedly before and it has the most interesting ideas for me. One of my interesting discoveries is how some crocodiles end up having almost a symbiosis with a certain kind of bird seen in [7], where they'd clean the crocodile's teeth, and previously while watching a TV show about animals I remember a moment with a different animal standing on top of one as well.
Robotics wise I looked up automatons as I had previously found interest in their innerworkings [9], [8] was found from looking into the flexibility of robots.
And when I was looking for examples of handmade electric toys as the crocodile is similarly designed to them I had found [3] which was surprisingly close to my design, mainly the exposed battery.
