Whenever I look up to stare at the sky I become enamoured by those moving stars.

The flashing glare and how they can come so close to us, it's a life long obsession I've had.

Whenever I tell my parents of those moving balls of gas they give little smiles and say "Sure, sweetie."

I don't understand what my parents' parents say about them, they scoff at me and say that's wrong.

They speak that real stars never move, never flash, and that you see them when the night sky is blue

But my parents say that they're old, that they're minds are confused, thinking things wrong... Like saying grass is from a seed.

Though the sky has those stars, its blackness makes it the most lightest part of the world.

My hometown shines with pink and cyan, bringing the eyes to a message showing the latest and greatest foods from our local stores and stations.

When passing by I get too caught up with all of it that I usually get tripped by someone with a recent trending pet you can get in a box.
